Destroying the Rainbow with Transphobia: How the Right-Wing Undermines the LGBTQIA+ Struggle
As a straight man (sadly I must say this in this post, so there will be more creditability, because the right-wing today doesn’t think people in LGBTQIA community should exist as human beings, and if you are on the right and you disagree? then you haven’t been watching ring-wing [conservative] news since 2016) with family and friends who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, it has become increasingly evident to me just how important it is to support transgender individuals in their journey towards self-acceptance and equality. The struggles and challenges faced by transgender people cannot be overlooked, especially when we examine the role of the right-wing and its detrimental impact on the LGBTQIA+ movement.
The increasing transphobia exhibited by the right-wing, particularly within the Republican party, has had a profound impact on my political perspective. Witnessing the persistence of discriminatory rhetoric and regressive policies targeting transgender individuals has only solidified my resolve to embrace a more radically-left stance. The more I see the harmful effects of transphobia on the lives of vulnerable individuals, the more convinced I am that a progressive and inclusive approach is necessary to combat such bigotry.
It is disheartening to witness those in power perpetuate fear, misinformation (conservative news), and exclusion, pushing me further towards a political ideology that advocates for the rights and dignity of all people, regardless of their gender identity. The pervasive influence of transphobic content and right-wing propaganda has impacted many friends and family. Witnessing the harmful consequences of such right-oriented ideologies has ignited a fire within me to take action.
I have made the decision that I will soon be producing my own political commentary content video to fight back against the bigoted filled right-wing of the political spectrum. I aim to not only raise awareness about the damaging effects of transphobia and right-wing propaganda but also provide a counter-narrative that promotes inclusivity, equality, and critical thinking.

By falsely framing transgender rights as a threat to society, conservatives have fostered a climate of fear and misunderstanding. This portrayal stokes unfounded fears and fuels discrimination against transgender individuals. It is essential to acknowledge that as a straight white person, I possess certain privileges that shield me from experiencing the full extent of the struggles faced by individuals of different skin-tones and transgender individuals. While I may empathize and support their rights, I can never truly comprehend the daily challenges, fear, and emotional pain they endure. It is crucial for me to use my privilege to amplify their voices, advocate for their rights, and create a more inclusive and compassionate society that uplifts and protects the well-being of all transgender individuals.
HOW TO FIGHT BACK
NOW, in order to effectively support the liberal side and the LGBTQIA+ community, it is crucial for the left to mobilize and increase its numbers. By embracing a more radical approach, the left can gather a larger and stronger coalition to challenge the right-wing’s ideologies and dismantle systems of inequality.
This entails actively engaging in grassroots activism, education, and mobilization efforts to raise awareness, build solidarity, and amplify marginalized voices. Through the collective strength and determination of an increased left-wing presence, we can push for social justice, equality, and a more inclusive society that respects and celebrates the rights and dignity of all individuals.

Their participation in presidential elections holds the potential to reshape the future of governance, potentially diminishing the likelihood of a Republican president if they all exercise their right to vote. However, sustained political engagement goes beyond presidential elections, as active involvement in local and state elections is crucial for lasting systemic change. By consistently casting their votes and supporting like-minded candidates, younger generations can influence policies and elect representatives who align with their values, leading to a more inclusive, equitable, and representative government.
The collective impact of Millennial and Gen-Z voters extends beyond the presidency, with their active participation in senate and house elections gradually diminishing the influence of Republicans and contributing to a more diverse and inclusive legislative body. Through sustained engagement at all levels of the political process, younger generations have the power to shape the composition and direction of the House and the Senate, paving the way for a more representative democracy that reflects the evolving priorities and aspirations of the diverse population and not just the caucasian persuasion population.
